The 7x7 clothing that should be ordered is: 1 gray shirt (compression or loose fitting) and 1 pair of black shorts. The players # will be printed on both pieces of apparel (if you provide the # upon ordering).

Orange and Green Game

This Friday is our annual Orange & Green Game.  We are in desperate need of donations to run the concession stand.  We are asking that all Offensive players bring canned drinks (Coke products ONLY) and all Defensive players to bring hotdogs, buns and individual bags of chips.  We also need volunteers to work in the concession stand. If you can help, please call Jill Howe, her cell number (904)465-2116.  We need all volunteers to be at the concession stand at 5:30 on Friday afternoon.  We appreciate all your help. GO MUSTANGS!!

Domino's Card Are HERE!!!

Our Domino's Pizza Cards are here and ready to be delivered.  We will be giving them out to the players beginning today! Make sure your player gets them to the people that ordered them ASAP! Thanks for all your help and support.  GO MUSTANGS!

FCA Football Camp

We are going to CAMP!!!

The football team is going on a team retreat.  FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) will be hosting us at Camp Blanding On Friday, April 27th at 3:00pm and we will return Saturday, April 28th, later in the afternoon (return time is to come later). (We will be taking a school bus to Camp Blanding)

All players must turn in a signed permission slip and the $20.00 camp fee by Monday, April 23rd.  The camp fee will cover player meals and a T-shirt. Each player must bring a photo I.D. in order to get on the military base.  They also must bring a minimum of 3 water bottles or a large personal cooler. There will be no cups for the players to use so, they must be prepared with their own water. The camp recommends no electronic devices.

Each camper will need to bring the following:

Pillow
Blanket
Sheets
Towel(s)
Workout Clothes and Tennis shoes
Toiletries (soap, deodorant, shampoo, toothbrush & toothpaste, etc...)
Any snacks and extra drinks they would like

This is a team building experience and we want ALL players to attend and participate.  We are looking forward to being together as a team and beginning the work for our upcoming 2012 football season.

Spring Football Fundraiser Info...

The Spring Football Fundraiser is here!!! We will be selling candy to raise money for the football team.  Candy will be given out on Monday, March 26th.  Each player will be required to sell 2 (two) boxes of candy.  We will not accept any candy to be returned. We MUST have all candy money collected no later than Friday, April 6, 2012.

If you don't want to sell candy, $50.00 in cash MUST be turned in no LATER than Thursday, March 15th.  If your player turns in the $50.00 they will not be issued candy on March 26th.

If you wish to turn in the $50.00 and not be issued candy; the money can be turned in to Coach Dean, Ms. Wendy and/or Ms. Kim beginning Monday, March 5th.

This Wednesday, February 1, 2012, is National Signing Day for college football.  We are extremely excited that Stephen Hospital, one of our Offensive Linemen will be signing his letter of intent with Stetson University.  Way to go, Stephen!!! Congratulations!!

We will begin weightlifting and conditioning for Spring football on Monday, January 23, 2012.  If your son has 7th period weightlifting; he will lift then.  Players that do not have weightlifting during 7th period will lift after school.

Mama Sullivan

2011 MHS Football Banquet

Our Last Home Game...

Hi Everyone... This Friday night, November 4th is Senior Night and our last home game of the 2011 season.  We are looking forward to a nice crowd to honor our seniors.  But, we need your help... MHS vs. Spruce Creek Game

Our game this week will be on Thursday, October 20th at 7:00pm in New Smyrna Beach.  We will be traveling to New Smyrna to play Spruce Creek.  The team will be leaving MHS at 1:00pm on Thursday to travel to the game.  We will stop on the way to have pre-game meal.  We would really appreciate all your support at this (far) away game.  Come out and support our Mustang Football team as we take on Spruce Creek.

Tomorrrow night (9/15) is our first JV Home game.  We will be playing Sandalwood and it should be a GREAT game. We will also be selling our very popular Mustang Football Energy Bands.  Please show your support for MHS Football and buy one of these Energy Bands while you are at the game.  They are being sold for $10.00 (which is a fabulous deal) at a table near the concession stand.  We want everyone to represent our Mustang family, you can choose from black or white; or buy one of EACH!  GO MUSTANGS!
